Pups

This is Brutus.
This is Dee.

The two puppies together. Dee, and Brutus.

I was able to get the old camera to work just a little for me. I got some pictures of our puppies. The pictures may be a little weird, because of the camera.
They sure are cute. I love them. We got them around five weeks old. They've just over doubled their size. They are German Shepard crossed with a Cane Corso. They're going to be big beastly dogs.

Worth it all

This is Bugs Bunny
This is Thumper

And this is Skipper.
On Friday the 18th of June. I went out side to feed my animals. When I was walking to my rabbits cage... I noticed that they had been killed. They were lying around out side their cage. I'm not going to really talk about the condition their bodies were in. What ever killed them, ripped right through the wiring of their cage. I had to pick up my rabbits and put them all in their box. April and I spent the next five hours digging their grave, the ground out here is very hard, we made it about 1 foot and 4 inches. My hands hurt with blisters, but with my Dad's help, we were able to get it deep enough for the box to fit. ( The rabbits are HUGE so they filled a large box ) Thanks Dad. That's one of the hard things about living up here, animals kill animals. People don't contain their dogs very well up here. It's a sad truth,,, but the nice thing about being up here is that we have the opportunity to own these animals. It's sad when we loose them, but the times we had with them are worth every bit of the pain.
( I used the old camera to get those pictures, the new one still isn't working. )

Long time

It's been a long time since I've done any thing with the blog. Sorry. A lot has happened since the last bit of news. April had a birthday the day after Kirstie. We also went down into Maricopa to see David's graduation from the police academy. Also we got to visit with Jennifer and Josh... and stay at their house for the time we were there. On our last day there, we went to look at some puppies. Well we fell in love with them... so our Dad gave us TWO of them!!!! Wow, you've just got to love MY Dad. :) They are German Shepard X Cane Corso,,, the Cane Corso is an Italian Mastiff. The girl's name is Dee and she is brindle... The boy's name is Brutus and he is tan with black lining, (marking ). They have tripled in size from the time that we bought them.

Kirstie had her baby. He is beautiful. He was born three weeks early... He was just under seven pounds. His name is John Samuel Garth Young. Long name,,, but it works. He has a lot of hair.

And also in the same week that he was born... I had EFY. ( Especially For Youth ) It was awesome!!!! The food was really bad, but the time spent there was amazing. I would recommend it to every one!!! I made so many new friends, and had some awesome experiences. I hope to get some pictures up of every thing that has happened... but our camera isn't working right now. So just be patient with me and I'll get them up as soon as I can. ;)

Kirstie's 20th Birthday

On April 13, Kirstie turned twenty years old. She is no longer a teenager. We didn't celebrate her birthday on the actual day... but we did celebrate it on the 17th.

And my Dad went over and finally got David to smile, while Mom snapped a picture. David has a really nice smile, it just goes away when you pull out the camera. Kirstie didn't have a cake but she did have a strawberry desert that we didn't get a picture of. She liked all her gifts.

Dad's Fifty-third Birthday

On the fourth of April... My Dad turned fifty-three. It funny to think of my Dad as that old. Even though he's getting older, he is still a lot of fun. His birthday was fun as well. It was on conference weekend, and Easter. But one of the really fun parts... was shopping for him. I'm not a really big fan of shopping, but the gifts we bought him are awesome. Here are some pictures of his great birthday...

So then we had the cake, It was chocolate with cream cheese frosting. And we had fifty-three candles on it, plus four sparklers. The cake was so hot. It looked like we had a fire on the cake, here is a picture so you know what I'm talking about.

Blow em' out Dad!!!

He was almost able to blow them all out. But the sparklers don't usually go out, and they kept bringing back the other candles. But for all the candles there were to blow out,,, he did a good job.

And this is April, trying to figure out hoe to use the new toilet.

April's New Look

Around the first week of April... April, ( my sister not the month ) decided that she was fed-up with her hair, so she decided to get it cut. At first she was planning to have it just a few inches long, but left it a little longer then that. Here are some before and after pictures.

And after the cut...

She loves have less hair now. But the funny thing is... is that she spends more time on it now then she did before. I looks really cute when she spikes it. The pictures above are of her hair before she spiked it. She loves her new hair. :)

EmmaLee's art

So some of you may know that my little sister, EmmaLee wants to be an artist when she's grown up. For only being seven years old, ( going on eight in September ) she's already pretty good. Her favorite thing to paint is animals, and she does better at them then I do, and a lot of people mostly are. LOL!!! So the other day we cut up a pineapple and had the top of it left over. Well I decided that it would be fun to paint those leafs. And EmmaLee wanted to paint too. So she grabbed the cantaloupe and began to paint it. And she took some pictures of it... here they are...
